

Leanne Rosen, MMus, BMus, ArtDip, Orff Level 1
Leanne is a passionate teacher committed to providing high quality piano instruction from a student's very first lesson. She holds a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Piano Performance and Pedagogy.
Most recently, Leanne was awarded a grant from the University of Toronto School of Graduate Studies to present her research "Free Improvisation Using Extended Techniques for Beginner Pianists" at the Practical Piano Pedagogy Conference at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. She was also the recipient of the Univerity of Toronto Fellowship entrance scholarship. In 2015, Leanne received the Open Piano Solo Trophy at the Kiwanis Music Festival of London for her performance of Maurice Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin.
Leanne has also completed her Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma in piano performance. Upon graduation, she was awarded the University of Western Ontario Gold Medal for highest academic achievement in her program.
In addition to maintaining her private studio in Richmond Hill, Leanne is also on the faculty at Little Valley Montessori School where she teaches Music and French. She is also an examiner in training with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
